Overview

Mailfence is a Belgian email + calendar service with optional E2EE between Mailfence users, shared team mailboxes and EU data residency by default. Strengths. One of the few privacy services that bundles calendar + contacts into the same price; per-mailbox pricing (not per-seat) keeps small teams cheap; EU infrastructure, GDPR-aligned. Weaknesses. E2EE is opt-in between Mailfence users only — messages to external domains are standard TLS; web client lags behind HEY/Tuta in polish; admin tooling is basic for orgs above ~10 seats. Pricing. Current entry pricing, free tier and storage are shown in the verified specifications panel above — read from the vendor’s own pricing page, never copied between languages. Verdict v1: the best value privacy bundle in the EU — pick it if calendar-included + E2EE matters more than admin depth.
